One Piece's latest game collaboration is quite interesting indeed
One Piece is an anime series I've never gotten into, but I know it has an extremely rabid fanbase. I'm sure there are many, many reasons why people love this series. Perhaps one day I'll have the time to find out! Until then, I'll be watching the fans from the outside.
With a popular anime series comes games, and there have been plenty of One Piece games over the years. The best part is, most of them are pretty damn fun! You don't even have to know the One Piece series to really enjoy them, with is always the sign of a fantastic game.
Perhaps that'll be the case with One Piece: Kaizoku Musou. Yes, One Piece is crossing over with the Musou series, and it looks like you're going to do what everyone expects from a Musou game...beat the crap out of tons of enemies. Not exactly my cup of tea, but I'm thinking fans of the anime will eat this one up!
Blue Exorcist getting feature film adaptation
Yet another reason for me to actually start watching Blue Exorcist instead of waiting for the localization. A feature film is in the works for Japan, proving just how successful the series has been thus far. No word on when the film will be released, but the anime series is due to conclude this Sunday.
The first Blue Exorcist localized DVD release is due out this October, so those waiting for the official English disc-based release needn't wait much longer. The manga is also continuing on, with the 4th book due out next week. It looks like there will be plenty of Blue Exorcist love to come!

Anime is ahead of the tech game
Here at Anime Your Way, we put a very big focus on the content that anime creators pump out. We believe that anime offers up some truly amazing experiences, both from a visual standpoint as well as storyline. These are series' and movies that simply shouldn't be missed by anyone, which is why I do my best to spread the word on all that great stuff.
What I don't do often enough is marvel at one of the other important aspects of anime, the delivery system. When you compare anime to other entertainment mediums like movies and TV shows, anime really is ahead of the game. It's very clear that the anime industry is eager to jump on-board any and all technological delivery advancements that take foot.
Just think about the various ways that we can watch anime. Obviously we have TV broadcasts, as well as DVD/Blu-ray releases. That's just the very tip of the iceberg though. There are on-demand networks, support from Netflix and Hulu, various other streaming sites, digital downloads and so much more. You literally can get anime any way that suits your needs.
What I find most impressive is the simulcast option. How many other TV shows do you know of that support this? Anime fans in the states are very eager to see what Japan is watching, and we don't want to wait for that content. The industry recognizes that, and offers up simulcasts when possible. We literally get to watch anime series' right along with their Japanes airings, a couple days later at most. How is that for amazing fan support?

O produto de hoje eu estava doidinha para testar: o Contouring Blush & Bronzing Powder da linha Studio da e.l.f. Ele é famoso por ser beeeem parecido com o duo Orgasm/Laguna da Nars.
Como eu não conheço pessoalmente o blush/bronzer da Nars, irei somente avaliar o meu duo da e.l.f., ok?

O duo é composto por um blush rosa com brilhos dourados e um bronzer também com brilhos dourados. As cores são realmente lindas e incrivelmente pigmentadas, principalmente o bronzer {na minha pele de Branca de Neve eu tenho que aplicar com uma mão levíssima}.
Achei a durabilidade muito satisfatória. Ambos fixam muito bem e espalham com facilidade.

Em relação ao brilhos, apesar de discretos na embalagem, você realmente vê as partículas douradas nas bochechas, mas nada de exagerado, viu? Fica bem lindo na pele.
O material é de um plástico resistente e bem acabado. Para ser bem sincera, adorei a embalagem: ela é magra, resistente e acompanha um espelho. Super prática para levar na necessárie!

Enfim, achei o investimento super válido e recomendo a quem deseja ter o duo-inspired na Nars, afinal o preço é bem amigo: paguei £3.50, mas nos EUA sai por $3.00.

Com Joss Stone, Sunset vira principal palco do Rock in Rio
A cantora inglesa Joss Stone chegou ao Palco Sunset do Rock in Rio como convidada especial. Ela interrompeu as parcerias musicais de artistas brasileiros que são comuns ali e conseguiu fazer uma grande apresentação, chegando a se emocionar com um público empolgado, que cantou junto e aplaudiu suas músicas. Até mesmo no Palco Mundo, onde ocorrem os principais shows, o público acompanhou animado, via telão, a apresentação dela.
Joss Stone subiu ao palco minutos antes da hora em que estava previsto o início do show, cantando a canção “You had me”. Para os fãs da cantora, o Palco Sunset ficou pequeno para ela.
Um ano depois de roubar a atenção no festival SWU, em SP, com um show animado, Stone conseguiu fazer uma apresentação mais pessoal, e conseguiu incluir canções novas sem dispersar totalmente o público.
Muito carismática e interagindo o tempo todo com as pessoas da plateia, ela chegou a cantar a canção “Last one to know” a pedidos, alegando não estar preparada para isso. Ela convidou o público para cantar junto e ajudá-la com a letra.
O som baixo do Palco Sunset chegou a apagar um pouco sua voz nas primeiras músicas, mas acabou sendo corrigido e dando conta. Somente nos intervalos entre as músicas, quando a cantora conversava com o público, ficava um pouco mais difícil de ouvir o que ela falava.
Perto do fim da apresentação, que durou pouco mais de uma hora, Stone cantou só com o violonista da banda, em um dos momentos em que sua bela voz mais se destacou.
Como personagem de filme de terror, Ke$ha leva seu pop ao Rock In Rio
A cantora americana Ke$ha apresentou seu pop "cachorra" no Rock In Rio, nesta quinta (29), início do segundo final de semana do festival. Com um visual sexy-podrão, com maquiagem borrada e roupas rasgadas, ela mostrou sucessos de seus discos "Animal" e "Cannibal", ambos de 2010, como "Take it Off" e "(Fuck Him) He's a DJ".
Acompanhada por dois bailarinos, ela segue os passos de estrelas pop como Katy Perry, Britney Spears e Hannah Montana, com as quais já gravou, mas acrescenta um caráter "trash", vindo de bandas underground, como Ssion.
No mais, ela faz um show desses que poderiam animar uma noite de boate, mas um pouco frouxo para ser encarado como um espetáculo em si. Cantando com uma camada grande de efeitos para "afinar" a voz, a cantora abusa de gritinhos e "carões".
Coberta de glitter, a loira anuncia a última música da noite, "Tik Tok", single que a catapultou ao sucesso. A música é cantada por toda a plateia.
Anime Network to Simulcast Persona 4: The Animation
HOUSTON, TX - September 29, 2011 - Broadcast and digital distributor Anime Network announced today that they will begin simulcasting the anime adaptation of the bestselling role-playing-game PERSONA 4 the Animation. From AIC A.S.T.A. (Bamboo Blade, Blood+), and renowned director Seiji Kishi (Angel Beats!, Kamisama Dolls), comes a story of a group of students, their ability to harness the powers of supernatural Shadows, and the grisly murders that connect their two worlds together. The voice cast from the original game have reprised their roles for the series.
Starting on Thursday, October 6th, the series will stream every week for free on Anime Network Online at 3 PM Eastern, the same day that it airs on TV in Japan. In addition, the episodes will be available to watch on free, ad-supported Hulu and the Hulu Plus subscription service within 24 hours. Distribution on additional services and platforms will follow in 2012.
Man, things keep getting better and better for the Persona 4 anime! There are going to be so many different ways to watch it. Whether you want streaming, on-demand or even Blu-ray and DVD, you have all the options you could ever want. This has the potential to be pretty damn big. Let's hope the actual anime is worth all this attention!
Drums Without Drums
Depois de um álbum de estréia elogiado e bem sucedido comercialmente, uma tour que foi da Coréia ao Brasil, o guitarrista Adam Kessler pedir o boné em Setembro do ano passado e a banda quase encerrar atividades em Junho desse ano, os nova-iorquinos do The Drums conseguiram parir o segundo disco.
E que beleza de disco. Portamento saiu no comecinho de Setembro com essa capa incômoda aí acima, que lembra mais uma certa identidade visual de artistas de witch house do que um grupo indie pop. Mesmo com músicas de estrutura simples e a sensação de que o trio ainda está aprendendo a dominar os instrumentos, não deixa de ser empolgante ouvir uma bateria com aquele bumbo esquisito de "Blue Stripes" ou as rufadas de caixa e chimbau de "I Need A Doctor". Aliás, segundo informação que consta no encarte do CD, o responsável pela bateria é o vocalista Jonathan Pierce, mas curiosamente todos os elementos percussíveis que aparecem nas 14 faixas me cheiram à programação eletrônica. O sintetizador é outro fator (bem) explorado em Portamento. A opção por timbres adequados e contidos leva o refrão da cinzenta "If He Likes It Let Him Do It" para outro plano, cria um baixo postiço em "Hard To Love" ou fornece uma confortável sustentação para o pop de "How It Ended". Portamento traz ecos de New Order especialmente nos baixos palhetados peterhookianos de faixas como "Days", The Smiths nas guitarras melódicas e limpas e mais claramente no estilo Morrissey de cantar de Pierce nos versos iniciais do irônico single "Money" e ainda The Beach Boys como referência óbvia nas harmonias vocais de "What We Had" ou em qualquer backing vocal contido no disco. Cativante e melancólico em doses iguais, Portamento é o retrato de uma banda tão jovem quanto o seu público que entendeu a mágica do negócio ao entregar mais um punhado de canções aprazíveis, sem afetação e sem fusões malucas pra chamar atenção. Sério candidato pro meu Top 10 do ano.

What games deserve the anime treatment?
Video games and anime often go hand-in-hand. Many Japanese-developed games have a style and sensibilities about them that is very close to what anime offers. Character designs, story arcs and even just visuals in general can give off a very anime vibe. I think it might have been my love of games that lead me to a similar love of anime.
Just as I said a couple days ago, there have been a few anime adaptations based on games over the years. There's also been the flip side of the coin, where there are games that are based of anime. Obviously, games based off of anime come around a lot more, and are a common occurrence in the industry.
With that said, I feel there are some games out there that really deserve a chance to be turned into an anime. There's just a special something about certain games that leads me to believe an anime spin-off or single tale would work wonders for the series, and would be greatly appreciated by fans of the game franchise.
Personally, I'd love to see a StarFox anime. I think the characters really lend themselves well to a fun, yet engaging anime series. Perhaps it might be better as a light-hearted anime series that might appear on afternoon cartoons here in the states, but I'd take whatever I could get!
