As I've said many times before, the main focus on this blog is to look at what anime is lined up for localization, or the content that has already come our way. If we're going to bring new people into the world of anime, we have to have as few barriers as possible. Obviously having an English translation is the very least we can look forward to, with a dub being even better for newcomers.
The thing is, we also have to stop and take a look at anime content that may be coming our way. For that kind of information, we need to look at the shows that are airing in Japan right now. Anime is obviously a lot bigger across the pond, and the new anime seasons each year show us what we can hope to see localized in the future. Some shows rise above others to make themselves prime candidates for localization.
I have to admit, I really don't have the time to watch the current anime season. I know there are plenty of options for legal simulcasts for shows that just started a few weeks back, but I haven't had a chance to watch even one of them. I feel like a terrible anime fan for not being able to view these shows for myself, but I have heard a lot of wonderful chatter while on Twitter and around the web.
That's why I turn to you guys on the topic! What current anime are you watching? What content from the new season really speaks to you? We already know some content that has been pegged for localization, but are there others that you hope to see get the same treatment?
