Move over, Peter Parker. Manny, Sid and Diego of the lovable ICE AGE crew is back with an astounding win at this weekend's box office. The fourth movie in this franchise earned around $46 million at the box office, beating THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN's earning of $35 million. ICE AGE: CONTINENTAL DRIFT is playing in over 3,800 theatres and even with some mediocre reviews from critics, this movie still started off with a strong push.
In this movie, Manny, Diego, and Sid go on another adventure after their continent is set adrift. They transform a floating iceberg into their own ship. They meet sea creatures and battle pirates along the way as they explore a new world. ICE AGE: CONTINENTAL DRIFT stars Ray Romano, Denis Leary and John Leguizamo and was directed by Steve Martino and Mike Thurmeier.
